What Is the Minimum Income Threshold
For couples with no children, the minimum income requirement is £29,000 per year. This income must be earned by the UK sponsor or jointly in certain permitted circumstances. If dependent children are included in the application, the income threshold increases by £3,800 for the first child and £2,400 for each additional child. For example, a couple with two children must show a combined annual income of £35,200.
Accepted Sources of Income
