Gather Comprehensive Evidence
Required evidence:
- At least 10-15 photographs together from different dates and locations
- Communication records (call logs, message screenshots, emails)
- Evidence of visits if you lived apart
- Letters from family and friends confirming they know about your relationship
- Evidence of joint activities, trips, or celebrations
- Engagement or wedding photographs and documentation
- Social media evidence (if appropriate)
What to do:
- Select photographs spanning your entire relationship timeline
- Label each photo with date, location, and who appears in it
- Print screenshots of 10-20 pages of messages from different time periods
- Request letters from 3-5 family members or friends (both sides)
- Gather evidence of any time spent living together
- Compile evidence of meeting each other’s families
- Include evidence of wedding ceremony and celebration
